The very short version of what’s happening:
- Tiree Broadband (CIT) is closing because full-fibre broadband has arrived in Tiree
- The email service was going to close at the same time
- Quite a lot of you wanted to keep your @tireebroadband.com address, so Isle Develop has stepped in to take over the hosting
- £36 per year keeps your email working, with your existing mailbox carried across
- Sign up by 10 June 2026 to make sure you don’t lose anything

What’s included
- Your existing @tireebroadband.com address, unchanged.
- All your existing email carried over from the old server
- Webmail access and full IMAP, POP3 and SMTP support for using your favourite email program (Outlook, Apple Mail, Thunderbird, phone email apps and so on)
- Spam and virus filtering
- Email forwarding and aliases
- Hosted in the UK by Stablepoint
- Twice-daily backups, also held in the UK
- Email support from Isle Develop at email@isledevelop.com
What stays the same
- Your email address
- Your login (a password reset may be needed during migration, we’ll guide you through it)
- The contents of your mailbox
- How you use it day to day
What’s new
- Isle Develop CIC is your new email host instead of CIT
- Payment is by yearly subscription through Stripe
- A small set of plain-English policies (linked below) that you’ll agree to at sign-up
The price
£36 per year, paid by recurring card subscription through Stripe.
- NOTE: If you have more than 1 @tireebroadband.com mailbox you will need to subscribe and pay separately for each one.
Isle Develop CIC is not VAT-registered, so no VAT is added.
Your subscription renews automatically each year. We’ll email you a reminder before each renewal, and you can cancel anytime from your account or by emailing us.
We’ll email you to confirm when your account has finished migrating, and let you know about any password reset or settings update you need to do.
